Dalle chitarre ruggenti e “dirty” anni ‘70, fino a suoni più pop e moderni. Da brani duri, Hard Rock fino a ballate d’amore più sentimentali. Il 29 ottobre 2021 esce il primo album dei Nifty Sea che porta il nome del gruppo.
Comunicato – “Nifty Sea” è il nostro primo album. Abbiamo deciso di chiamarlo come il nostro gruppo perché è il nostro biglietto da visita, racchiude un po’ tutte le varie sonorità che volevamo dargli.
Dalle chitarre che ci piacciono, quelle ruggenti e “dirty” anni ‘70, fino a suoni più pop e moderni. Da brani duri, Hard Rock che ci fanno scatenare per bene, fino a ballate d’amore più sentimentali.
Non è stato facile portarlo a termine, tra mille peripezie e difficoltà. Ma alla fine ne siamo soddisfatti, e speriamo faccia saltare ed eccitare quante più persone possibile.
Nifty Sea is our first album. We chose to name it the same as our band because it’s really our introduction and it holds all the different sounds we wanted it to have. It’s got the dirty and roaring 70s guitars that we love, and also newer, more modern pop sounds. Heavier, hard rock tunes that drive us wild and more sentimental love ballads. It wasn’t easy to wrap the work up, what with thousands of difficulties and ups-and-downs, but in the end we’re satisfied with it and hopefully you’ll like it and it will hype up a good many people.
I Nifty Sea nascono ad Ancona nel 2019. Filippo e Riccardo, rispettivamente front-man (chitarrista, cantante) e batterista, suonavano già insieme da anni in formazioni precedenti. Filippo cercava un gruppo con cui condividere la musica di propria creazione, e il gruppo si rivelò completo con l’arrivo al basso di Davide Scagliati. La band inizio così a incidere il suo primo disco, e nel frattempo a esibire dal vivo i brani inediti che ne avrebbero fatto parte, vincendo anche dei contest per artisti emergenti del luogo. Tra questi, il MarkeRock Festival (concorso della regione Marche al quale parteciparono band provenienti da tutto il territorio italiano) e il Museika Rock Contest di Moie. Finite le registrazioni del disco, Davide decise di lasciare il gruppo. Al suo posto, ad Agosto 2020 entrò nella band Tommaso Conti, andando così a comporre l’attuale formazione dei Nifty Sea. La prima esibizione live della nuova line-up portò subito i Nifty Sea a vincere il premio della giuria al Festival Giovani X la Musica di Pesaro, ottenendo così l’accesso direttamente in finale al Contest Pigro, organizzato dalla famiglia del celebre ed indimenticato Ivan Graziani. A Maggio 2021 i Nifty Sea hanno firmato per l’etichetta discografica Red Cat Records, con la quale uscirà il loro primo disco, a cui seguirà un tour promozionale in territorio italiano e oltre.
Nifty Sea were born in Ancona in 2019. Filippo and Riccardo, respectively front-man (guitarist, singer) and drummer, had already been playing together for years in previous bands. Filippo was looking for a group with whom to share music of his own creation, and the group was completed by the arrival of Davide Scagliati on bass. The band thus began to record its first album, and in the meantime to perform live the unreleased songs that were part of it, also winning contests for emerging local artists. Among these, the MarkeRock Festival (competition of the Marche region in which bands from all over the Italian territory participated) and the Museika Rock Contest of Moie. Having finished the recording of the album, Davide decided to leave the group. In his place, in August 2020 Tommaso Conti joined the band, thus completing the current formation of Nifty Sea. The first live performance of the new line-up immediately lead Nifty Sea to win the jury prize at the Giovani X la Musica Festival in Pesaro, thus gaining direct access to the final of the Pigro Contest, a contest organized by the family of the famous and unforgettable Ivan Graziani. In May 2021 Nifty Sea signed for Red Cat Records label, with which their first album will be released, followed by a promotional tour in the italian territory and beyond.
